But don't you guys think he should be going for best available that he can play since his team is stacked?(my reason for no Gonzo) Why give your competition technically the best player available with how crazy pitching is from a year to year basis? It is overkill having Crawford but someone will need those steals at some point during the year so unless your league isn't very active trading wise why not just grab best available build a lead across the board on offense then make trades if needed for a pitcher or two?

My league is NOT that active trading. It kills me when I look at some of the teams. I will make an offer that will help them. And yes of course help me too. But they will either flatly reject it with no counter offer or not reply. They draft their teams and sit on them most of the year.
There may be five or six teams of the twelve that are really active.
I do have an owner that wants Josh Johnson. he has two years left and then has to go back to the FA pool. I doubt I can get his first rd pick but might be able to get his second which is 21st overall. That would give me 2/15/15-21 in the first two rds with no third. But I have to give him one back. We draft 16 and we all have to have 16 picks. thoughts?

Ok guys. My draft is a week from Saturday. Now that ST games have going for a couple of weeks. How do you feel now about my situation. I now know what players will be avalible to draft after the first round. I really doubt Haren or Hamels is still on he board in round two.Remember I have two picks in the second round and no pick in the third. I have a fourth, fifth and to sixth round picks.
Hunter
Wandy
Kershaw
Quentin
Nolasco But he may be gone. The guy that dropped him has Webb. If he drops Webb because of being on the DL he can pick Nolasco back up. Webb is in his last year.
McClouth
Kendrick
Alexi Rameriz
Bourn
Morgan
Scott baker
Shields
Ibanez
Damon
Pierre
Oswalt
Dempster
I am still going back and fourth about grabbing Halladay first. Taking the next best hitter with my first pick in the second round . Then because I doubt he gets to me in the fourth round grabbing Heyward with my second pick in the second round.
We can pick up one minor leaguer and if Strausburg is there in either the fifth or sixth I thought of grabbing him. We can protect players for three years AFTER we draft them.
All of my keepers listed above can be kept for two and three more year.
Please. I can use your help.
