I have a stacked pitching staff (see below) and am hurting a little bit with underachivers, this is a possible deal I could make to solidify my lineup, is it worth it? Mussina and Foulke for Magglio.
Or should I just wait to see if my guys come around (Green, Cruz, Burnitz)

Ordonez is great, but he's not worth that price. I agree that you should be on the lookout for an outfielder (Green and Cruz should pick it up a bit, but they won't be as good as many expected), but there are plenty of good ones out there. If the price for Magglio is too high, search elsewhere. Good luck (and nice rotation :-> )!

Keep Mussina out of any talks unless it is a Top Tier Stud. Magglio is nice, but I would put him in the 2nd Tier. Sosa, Berkman, Gonzo, Bonds are top tier.

Burntiz has come around. He is playing like he always does. He will bat around .230 and hit 30 HRS and have 100 RBI's. He swings for the fence. So if you are waiting on anything with him, you will be waiting for a long time.

As for Green, he will come around. But he won't tear it up. Sheffield is what helped him. He is having a Steve Finley year right now.

I would continue to search, but leave the Moose put.

I'm out! ;-D

Just thought I'd mention that Green has two homers so far today against the Brewers, so maybe he is starting to come around. I guess Brewers pitching can do that.
