I am at a crossroad here, I have an unbelievable squad but am trying to get it better. This is a 12 player keeper league or 13 keepers(you give up your first round pick) At this time I have an excellent squad of 13 but am trying desperately to trade for HanRam as I think the SS non keepers suck and it will be easier to fill my MI with either a 2B or a SS rather than just a SS.

Please take a look and let me know if with this squad is BETTER if I trade Utley & Josh Johnson for Hanley Ramirez..... I would really love so opinions on this! Please remember this is a KEEPER league.

MI - Phillips
3B - Arod
OF - Holliday
OF - Hamilton
SP - Halladay
SP - Peavy

Would you just keep 12 if you made this deal?

Hard to trade the best 2b in the game and your 2nd best pitcher for the 2nd best player in fantasy baseball...
The other owner won't do Price/Utley or any other combo?

I don't know... I know Utley is over 30... and Hanley isn't but I feel like Johnson is a lot to give up to make up the difference.

I think I'd okay the deal as long as your comfortable w/ the draft pool and feel like you can make up the loss of Johnson by having that first round pick (not necessarily drafting a pitcher but a good enough player to make up for the loss).

I would then have 12 and be selecting 4th in the first round. I will not know the other peoples final cuts until 2 weeks before the season starts when you have to trim your 09' roster to the 13 players and then 2 days before the draft you can either drop down to 12 or stay at 13. At this time I have Joba & Ervin Santana on my bench as possible 13's or I would either be drafting Rich Harden or Madison Baumgartner with the 1st pick.
