Derrek Lee, Tommy Hanson, or Matt Wieters - 5th Keeper

Postby BALCO All-Stars » Thu Jan 07, 2010 1:32 am

14 team, 5x5 roto. Keep 5 each year. Currently am keeping Pedroia, Reyes, Holliday, and Bay. I've been just assuming that I'd freeze D Lee, but Hanson was a stud last year and is 10 years younger while D Lee is just an okay option at a very deep position...thoughts?

Options for final spot: Hanson, D Lee, Wieters

What do you think your chances are next year? D. Lee is the best bet for 2010 but I'd probably keep Wieters.

I would keep Wieters definately, he has the best long term potential out of those three (not totally sold on Hanson yet)

In a perfect world I will be able to trade bay for a solid 3B. But I don't know about straight up dropping him. Shouldn't he go .275/25/100/100/10 at least? And its not like he's old. But I also would like to fill OF last since its a much easier position to fill.

Anyone else?

I think that is pretty reasonable. I'd figure on more than 100 RBI with that lineup with a slightly worse BA and a slightly better HR total.
