what about using an escalating system for keeping draft picks... say if I keep my 10th rounder from last season into this season and I want to keep him again in 2011, he'd be worth a 9th rounder in 2011. Of course, this would mean 1st round picks could not be kept ever since there's no round to move them into next year. That way 1st rounders would always be 'rentals' each season.
also, in case someone keeps more than one FA, I assume the GM would have to spend the next highest pick available for that other FA (i.e. the 14th round pick), right?

For now we will stick with what was agreed on last year, but if it seems that the majority wants to change something maybe we will take a poll. For now, assume all rules are the same as last year.

5 Keepers, not sure if that was a serious question or not lol
Anyway, we have two open spots, two guys didn't get back to me yet. First, before posting in the Classifieds, I was wondering if anyone knew of a friend/cafe member/etc who is a good fantasy player, who will bring another competitive player to the league, that is first. If so, ask them, tell them to contact me and we will get the ball rolling.
Still have a little time to get this figured out, so let's not panic and take the first guy in the Classifieds section
I'd also say that we should probably hammer out the details of the league, and then maybe look for replacements. It's still early in the season, so those two may just be seasonal members. Did you try emailing them, instead of purely through PM? I dunno if we made a check-in thread with contact info - or just email them at the address they associated with their team on Yahoo! last season.
