So I know there's some excitement about Bay, and maybe we'll add Molina maybe not, but our rotation is in shambles...

Johan-coming off major surgery, hopefully he'll recover fully
Maine-coming off a season where he made only 15 starts, not spectacular anyway
Pelfrey-I really thought after his strong finish in 08 that he would continue to develop, but instead he regressed, hopefully hell rebound
Ollie-Let's not go there...
Parnell-1-5 with a 7.93 ERA in his last eight starts
Kelvim Escobar-Everybody's favorite fantasy sleeper every year from 2005-2006, I think he's going to be in the pen anyway
R.A. Dickey-Never had an ERA under 4.6, he's been in the pen in recent years anyway

Basically, even if we get Pineiro, I don't see how anyone can be optimistic about the team this year based on this rotation...

If the Mets were smart, they would go out and get Molina, Pineiro, and Sheets. But then again, we all know the Mets aren't smart.
