Oh no, see I was just thinking he meant that he didn't want Holliday to sign with ANY team that was top 5 in payroll in '09 when he said etc.

Mostly just the two evil empires. The Phillies are bursting at the seams payroll-wise and the Mets and Cubs each have a degree of incompetence in their orgs.

Will the Cards significantly up their payroll to pay Wainwright, Carpenter and Pujols? Have their owners indicated that they will put forth all of the organization's resources to sign these key players (Pujols seems like an obvious signing but he and Matt will carve up a significant portion of their payroll).
