Wut Dew Eye Dew? Pick My Keepers!

Postby Fade2White12 » Sat Jan 02, 2010 1:30 pm

Now that I'm back in super-baseball mode, it's time to think about how to approach our Cafe keeper league and subsequent draft.

12 Team H2H, 6x6 w/ OPS and Losses - Keep 10. Starting positions: C 1B 2B 3B SS IF IF LF RF CF OF OF Util - SP SP RP RP P P P P

Here are my potentials with definites bolded:
Votto
Youkilis
Reyes

Alexei
Sandoval
Holliday
JUpton

Choo
ASoriano
Greinke
Verlander

Rios
Fowler
Snider
Dukes
Lackey
Nolasco
Cuddyer
Buchholz

Edit: I'll also have the #1 MiLB pick - Strasburg or Heyward - if that changes things.

First off, nice keepers!

I'd go with Choo and Nolasco. Choo's solid across the board stats will play nicely in your deep OF settings and Nolasco is a top 20 SP when the year is done.

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

I'd go with Choo and lackey. I think Lackey will be better than Nolasco throughout the year. Nolasco a nice option, but I think you have a better chance of getting him back in the draft.

Nolasco/Choo. No doubt about them being the two best options here.
