I have 1st Overall Draft pick this year.

As i mentioned, I get to keep 4. Now I have a good situation here... I have 2 solid pitchers in Haren and Johnson, and I really think Bills is going to bounce back. i also like having Howard and Longo... however, I only get 4...

Here is my thought process on this... with pick #1... I keep Longo, Howard, Bills, and Johnson/Haren and pick up Johnson or Haren with the #1 pick... which will assure me a soild pitcher to start off in 2011...

Or, I keep my three pitchers, and drop Longo or Howard and see what's available at #1.

Is there somethign even better I havent considered???

What do you guys think? I definitely have a good sitaution here... but what will work out best for me????

Thanks for your help!

Firstly you are in a great position! Personally I'd keep 2 bats and 2 Pitchers probably

Evan Longoria
Ryan Howard
Chad Billingsley
Dan Haren

See what the FA pool is like and you can always pick Josh Johnson up again!

Howard
Longoria
Haren
Pence/Jones/Johnson any of the 3 work depending on what your league values more hitting/pitching.

Howard
Longoria
Haren
JOHNSON

Josh Joshnson is a beast; a top 15 SP next season. Billingsley has way too many question marks to warrant keeping and is simply not in the same class as Johnson.

Howard, Longoria, Haren, then probably Johnson but I'd also consider Billingsley or Jeter.

I hear that! I like Billingsley as much as the next guy, but gotta go Johnson here.

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

Ok well you guys seem to think keeping both bats and dropping one picther, probably Bills, is the best way to go with this...

I think i may just do that and see who is available at my first pick.

Thanks for your help!
