I actually think this is too bad. It means so little to the US, but to Canada it would have been a nice victory.

What an awesome game. The US was up 5-3 with less than 3 minutes to play. Captain Canada Jordan Eberle scored 2 goals in the final 2 and a half minutes to tie it up but it wasn't enough as Carlson scored in OT.

The US team was very young and a lot of them played together last year when the US won the world under 18 gold. They have terrific speed and blocked more shots than I have ever seen blocked before. Great job and well earned in a thriller of a game.

The US can return 9 players from this team next year when they try to defend on home soil in Buffalo. I'll be in the stands next year

The US scares me a lot again for next year. They said pre-tournament that they were gearing up for next year on home ice. That is why the had so man younger guys on the roster.
