Dynasty Draft (Half Way) WHIR

Postby Xezus » Fri Jan 01, 2010 4:24 am

12 Team H2H Dynasty with Hitters: R H HR RBI SB K E OPS Pitchers: W CG SV HLD K ERA WHIP QS

So far my team looks like this

C-
1B-D. Lee
2B-Utley
3B-Wright
SS-A. Escobar
LF-Bay
CF-BJ Upton
RF-Cuddyer
UTIL-Rios
UTIL-

SP- Lincecum, Cain, Ubaldo, Lilly
RP-Lidge, Bard

Minor Leaguers
Wade Davis (hope he starts this year =)

i have 2 picks in a row coming up and kurt suzuki is still avaliable, so im thinking of going with him, my 2nd pick is up for grabs between Chad Qualls, J. Sanchez, J. De La Rosa, Wolf, Parra

Also gonna grab a good 1B prospect next round to cover Lee for the future.

Seeing my team, who would u go with the next 2 picks?

Also any comments on the team would be much appreciated, i think i got a balanced club hitting wise, and with 3 young aces to lead my staff!

Leave a link! WHIR! when i wake up =) so u get a super nice bump lol

I'd imagine that at this point in the draft that none of the catchers left are much different from each other, so wait on Suzuki.

Take Wolf & Qualls out of the players you listed.

I agree with the above. I would pass on Suzuki and go with Qualls for sure but I would take a chance on Sanchez finding his control this year and pick him as well.

Toss up really between Sanchez and Suzuki, probably go with the arm myself! Sanchez strikes out a ton!

I never pay for saves so would leave Qualls!

Sanchez.

Wait on a catcher and if Qualls is the best available I guess go with him but I have to think there might be something better out there.

I'd draft Sanchez. Not sure how in tune the rest of the league is with prospects, but I'd pass on Kurt Suzuki and take Carlos Santana C-Cleveland if possible then draft a place holder later. If you are looking for a young 1B prospect type I'd take a look at Logan Morrison later on. Thus far I like your roster makeup though ;-D I'll toss out there that I still like Parra, but I think the list of those who believe in him is dwindling so you may be able to get him surprisingly later.
