Yahoo/PFW (the one that used to be affiliated with CBS) Fanball's seperate one from the NFBC Some other generic one (just glanced at it while in the bookstore)

Man, I really hope a lot of people in my league end up relying on the Fanball mag. Their analysis is almost as bad as CBS Sportsline's and some of their rankings are screwed up, e.g. Huston Street is the 19th-ranked closer and Michael Bourn is ranked ahead of the following outfielders: Manny Ramirez, Torii Hunter, Andrew McCutchen, Carlos Gonzalez, Johnny Damon, and the list goes on.
If anyone asks to borrow one of my magazines at the draft table, this is definitely the one I'll be passing along to 'em.

i agree. i happened to be at the book store yesterday so i wandered over to the mag section and picked up fanball. their rankings are absolutely horrible. ellsbury was ranked as the number 2 OF over kemp and holliday...i almost started laughing out loud in the store. carlos gonzalez was also ranked very high by them...i know he's a sleeper but he was unusually high i think. they also had another out of place guy in the top 10, i forget who. i didnt even bother looking at the rest of the mag.

BTW the yahoo one rolls out all the new features including supporting auction leagues/drafts and new H2H scoring where the it just records 1 win and 1 loss vs say 7-3 or the like.

I mostly just get all the info here or glance at the numerous free sites now. But if there is one mag I'll put $$ down on it's Rotoworld, which will come out in mid to late Feb I believe.
I might buy one magazine a year for bathroom reading, but only to keep myself from getting bored.....not because I actually value the information. There are too many free sources available to waste money buying a bunch of magazines.

i personally enjoy the sporting news fantasy baseball magazine!! I always pick it up to read.
I don't mind Lindy's. They do a better job of giving insight to each player than TSN. These are the two I usually buy for some light reading. I didn't really take a look at their rankings though because I don't usually use them anyway. But it is a good place to find about injuries I might not have known about or other little tidbits.
