So as the decade draws to a close, i figured the cafe should crown an athlete of the decade. What better way to do this than a good ole fashion forum vote off. So who to nominate. I checked out a couple of published lists and so far this is what i have found:
Doug Clore listed: Usian Bolt Tiger Woods Michael Phelps Roger Federer Lance Armstrong
If i had to choose ten i would probably select: Manning, Brady, Bryant, Woods, Armstrong, Duncan, Federer, Pujols, Phelps, and some hockey player (lindstrom maybe?).
15 might be better, then we could include guys like Bonds, a-rod, Lebron, and Tomlinson Thoughts?

Halladay, Rivera, Terrel Owens, Randy Moss, Shaq, Jeter, Ichiro, Garnett, Santana, there are many people who could be in this discussion.

UFC would be a great idea. It would be most fun with the best athletes of major/popular sports that people on the cafe follow.

I guess we could include a soccer player or two despite the fact no one in the USA knows who they are especially compared to Brady, Manning, ect..

Well it's the difference between dominating a sport that the whole world plays (Tiger), or playing a sport that a few million hillbillies play (Brady, Manning)

By whole world do you mean those few people in each country rich enough to afford green's fees?

Well I can't imagine poor people in India or Africa being able to afford to dress up like a big grid iron fairy
