How in the world are you taking Wainwright over Lee?

I was thinking Wainwright over Lee as well. I get the 3rd overall pick so hopefully whoever I let go is still available.

But why would you take Lee over Wainwright?

SafeCo is the probably the most pitcher friendly ballpark in the MLB and the Mariners have are in the top 3 in defense in the MLB. That works very well when he makes half his starts in SafeCo.

Definite keepers - Mauer, Kinsler, Sizemore, Kemp and Braun.

After that I think I would go with Lee. Not loving this selection but I don't really think you can keep anyone over him. Wainwright is nice and all but Lee is better. Beckham is tempting but I don't see how you can keep him over Lee. Werth is alright but again no way you can keep him over any of the other guys plus that would give your 4 OF and no need to do that. Also you have a better chance that Wainwright will still be there at the 3rd pick than Lee still being there.

By the way, how many teams are in this league. That might change who to keep but it might not either.

How in the world are you taking Wainwright over Lee?

I think they get drafted real close, but there are no questions surrounding Wain. A better offense, no change in scenery;I think that may scare a few owners & would bet Wain's ADP is lower than Lee's.Plus 3 years younger than Lee, 5 big hitters & either SP is a great start to the roster
