"Jon Heyman of SI.com reports that the Mets' plan is for Jose Reyes to miss Opening Day, but possibly join the club for the fifth game of the season against the Nationals. If the Mets backdate Reyes, he would be eligible to return from the disabled list on March 10, the fifth game of the season. It's disappointing that he won't be on the lineup card for Opening Day, but Reyes has yet to play without restrictions in minor league games. It's not worth risking his long-term health if he's not in proper game-shape. Alex Cora will start in the meantime. Mar. 31 - 5:30 pm et Source: Jon Heyman on Twitter "
I've seen him go around 70 as of late, give or take a round. He seems worth it even with the risk that comes along.

Stole two bases in his minor league start yesterday Coming off a leg injury, you had to be worried if he still had the speed to be valuable...this is a good sign.
