You can do better than that for Lincecum.

Peavy is an injury question mark
Jenks is an OK closer who is probably on the decline
Danks (coupled with the other two) just isn't enough

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see you get more than that package. I'm not very high on Danks. If there were a way to get a true high upside talent (Ubaldo?) and a more solid closer (Soria?), then I think it's worth it.

BTW, added a new ripple to my earlier post; your always great help would be greatly appreciated:

Now I have been offered CC, Nolasco and Lindstrom from another owner for Lincecum. What do you guys think about this offer? Thanks and leave your links.

I like this better, though I'm not completely sold on it. Sabathia is certainly more of a sure thing, but is obviously a step down from Timmy. I love Nolasco and he's just the sort of high upside guy I'd want to see you get in return. The only thing is that I'd like to see you get something more useful for the 3rd guy. Even if it's not a closer, hold out for something a little better.... post the guys' roster?

Also, lol, I have another new take. So if you're bored:

Now he is backing out and saying that all he would be giving up for Lincecum is CC and Nolasco. Is that fair value. He is also interested in my Ells which is pretty untouchable and Reimold. What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.

Well, Nolasco + CC is much better than your original (Peavy, Danks, Jenks) - still not sure if it's enough to get Lincecum.

If he can throw in Morgan and/or Jackson it would be a little more enticing..

Hmmm. That's unfortunate. The deal still might be worth doing, but only if you truly believe Nolasco will be a force next season. Personally, I do, but there are some question marks. Maybe you can ask for Josh Johnson instead. he's more of a sure thing, but the year less on his contract might make it unappealing anyway.

I'm not huge on Reimold as I think that he's already reached his upside so mabye you can send him for someone a little more exciting. Personally, I'm a big fan of Chris Coghlan especially since he should get 2B eligibility. I know you have Uggla, but his AVG really does suck and you might be able to move him for the closer you want. Everth Cabrera is also very interesting and would allow you to do the same thing.

Thanks for all of your help. Let me know if you need any more.

I'm sorry for having no insight to give you on your team, but do you know where I can sign up for one of these types of leagues? Seems very interesting. And does it cost money?

Best of luck in your league.
