as far as whiskey i like Makers...Woodford Reserve is also really, really good. you can also give Gentelman Jack or Jack Daniels Single Barrel a try. i've never really gotten into the Walkers, but i say you spring for a bottle of Blue
Gentleman's Jack and Jack Daniels Single Barrel, FTW!!!

oh and please don't be like somebody here and mix the stuff with coke.
I bought the Macallan 12 this evening and took it to a friends to enjoy a glass. It was very good and I enjoyed the combination of all of it's smokey flavors. He brought out a bottle of The Balvenie 12 that he had and I tried that as well. I liked the Macallan more, but The Balvenie was good too. The Balvenie was a lot more smooth and didn't have as much of a "burn," but the Macallan had a lot more of a flavor profile that I enjoyed.
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...
i got me a bottle of jameson yesterday, and damn it's smooth as butter. definitely my favorite blend. it's the anti-chivas/crown. you know i tell when alcohol is clean/pure? you don't get toxic sore leg syndrome the next day. everytime i drink american whiskey i get the toxic legs syndrome. if i drink a good single malt or nice blend like jameson, i could almost not even remember i drank the night before.
