I'm new to this too, but I would say definitely pick up Riske, with Wickman out for a couple of months. I've also been advised that Kolb is worth a look this season.

Thanks. I've read good things about Riske and Kolb. But I've also read good things about F. Cordero and A. Rhodes. Who could I drop to pick any of those FA's up?

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I definitely like Kolb over Cordero. You have a ton of SS so try trade one or two for a good starting pitcher. There have to be some guys in your league without any good SS.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll stick with Cordero for now, but I'll keep a close eye on Kolb and the others.

I plan on trading for a good starting pitcher. Who should I target for Tejada? Or I could shop Matsui or Reyes around.

Any other advice?

Hmm, somebody that I'd keep an eye is Joe Nathan.

If he closes, then he could be a very good pick-up, and plays on the better teams than Cleveland and the Brew Crew.

Kolb is very solid, but I think it depends on how many games the Brewers will actually win.

I really like the offense, it's good for a first-year.

Thanks. I'm pretty psyched about the offense too. :-D

Nathan is on waivers. Do you think I should put in a request? I wouldn't know who to drop.
