White Sox acquire Juan Pierre for two minor league pitchers. Dodgers pick up about half of remaining salary.


Good news for fantasy owners, Pierre was excellent when Manny got suspended.

I assume that they think Pierre can actually still play some CF but it's not like Quentin is a sure bet to stay healthy.

Over past couple of months White Sox have brought in:

Peavy
Rios
Teahen
Putz
and now Pierre

Kenny Williams's contract come up after 2010 or something? :-)

I forgot they signed Andruw earlier in the offseason too
