Do I trade Ubaldo Jimenez for Jay Bruce my OFs are cuddyer adam jones and nate mclouth and my P keepers are bret anderson clay bucholtz gallardo jimenez kershaw ricky romero and strasburg.if i trade jimenez i can keep either cahill gio gonzalez or brandon morrow.any help wld b appreciated.

Ubaldo really showed me something last year. He throws hard, and gets lots of GBs. He also has a good K rate, and he trimmed his BB rate a bit. He is probably the #1 on your staff. Your rotation has lots of question marks, but is full of potential.

With that said, your OF looks like it could use some help.

I think I would make this deal, and then keep Morrow. How do your keeper settings work? Do you have to keep a certain number of SP?

Seems like a fair deal and while I like Bruce long-term, keep in mind he's coming off a wrist injury, which puts a bit of a damper on his current value. You might squeeze more in an offer for Ubaldo, but like I said, it seems fair enough and if you do it, I'd probably keep Morrow.
