I'm in a 5x5 keeper league and am looking at possibly acquiring David Price. I only keep ten guys so I need to know if you feel he'll break out this year and be a top SP. Opinions?

I may be in the minority here, but I don't see Price improving much on his numbers from last year (although, obviously more IP) and I think he may be better suited as a late inning reliever long-term.

I personally think Price is vastly overrated and I wouldn't expect that much of a change from last year. I think he will be better than last year but not an ALL Star.
please help

he's not gonna have a lincecum-esque year 2 if that's what ur wanting. 10 keepers seems like a lot and if its a big league 14-16 teams? pitching is gonna get thin and maybe he'd be worth it but otherwise i wouldn't trade for him

help?

I think it all depends on your potential keepers. Who are your current ten and who would you give up to acquire him?
In my opinion; 10 keepers 10 team league = top 100 players
10 keepers 12 team league = top 120 players
Either way, I don't see the value in keeping Price. Sure he may one day come out and be a fantasy ace, but based on his current value, you could snag him back in the redraft easily. You want to keep players that you know you won't be able to redraft.
