I think I would give the slightest edge to Paps but I would be happy with either one.

I think statistically they'll be about even next year. But, I'd give the edge to Papelbon since he's been consistently great over the past 4 seasons while we've really only seen one season out of Broxton at closer.

I'd take Broxton for a few reasons. K-rate, GB rate, pitches in the NL. Those things give Broxton the nod in my book. Pap's high FB rate and lesser K-rate then Broxton spells a greater chance of the occasional meltdown. While both are superb options, I think Broxton is just a smidge better.

Broxton by a little. I would take either though, and would prefer whichever I could get a bit later.

Go with Broxton. He is slightly better than Paps for all the reasons already mentioned.
