i dont know much about pedro A. but i would say yes.

i like the talent you're getting. Only thing i'm concerned with is the age of the guys you're acquiring.... BUT HEY play for now!

what would the other owner be looking at with that expansion pick? a minor leaguer?

Yeah, with the first round expansion pick it is anyone that is on waivers or rookies that have been added by Yahoo. So, it is like having a 26th round pick so not a big loss for me I don't think.

I like this trade for you. Looks like a "win now" kind of move.

If you think you've got a legitimate chance to contend this year, I'd definitely go for it. Just be prepared to try to move some of that age while you can if you fall out of contention.

I like the haul you are getting here. You are dealing some nice young guys with potential, but they are still all relatively unproven. The guys you are getting are all in the midst of their prime, and will be able to help you compete this year.

What kind of owner would make this offer? ;-7 !+)

I guess I am the only one that probably wouldn't do this trade. This is the kind of trade that should help you know but could hurt you in a couple years. The only guy I like is Lackey and he is hard to judge. I don't hate the trade so like it was said earlier if you think you can win go for it but do know that most of these guys are going to be on the decline very soon and possibly this year.

I declined the offer but now the other guy has come back with a similar offer minus a couple of players.

He is offering Carlos Lee, Carlos Pena, Nelson Cruz

for

Kendry Morales, Johnny Cueto, first round pick in supp draft(round 26)

Does this look like something I should do? Let me know and leave your links. Thanks.

I would have done the 1st deal and would def do this one. I'm always of the opinion that you should win now if you have a chance. I actually like the 1st better b/c u get the same batters but also get a boost in pitching for probably the next 2 years.

I wouldn't have done the initial deal moving Pedro Alvarez, but I would do this deal. I think Kendry is the best player in the deal (but not by a huge margin) and then I think the next best three players are coming your way (by a wide margin over Cueto and the supplemental pick).
