Would you rather have Howard or Miggy Cabrera in a 5x5 roto league? Standard stats.

So even though Howard gives you 10+ homers and 35+ RBIs you'd still go with Miggy?

That 45 points in BA is huge, imo.

Cabrera. Howard can give you more homers, and probably more RBI's, but the difference between a .250-.275 hitter and a .300-.330 hitter is bigger. Cabrera's younger and (imo) a better overall hitter, so I'd go with him.
<---Tigers fan, and I never really liked Howard anyway, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt.

I think this is closer than most are saying. I like Miggy a lot but he has never broken out yet to get to that 40HR 140 RBI level that Howard can give you year in and year out. Yeah, the difference in avg is huge so I would go with Miggy here but just barely as I don't believe Howard is in a decline and is still young and a stud.
