Who to keep?

Postby cubbieball10 » Tue Dec 08, 2009 4:38 pm

Keep 10, scoring is 5x5.

Have 5 pitchers for 3-4 spots, looking to trade one or two for some upgrades elsewhere.

Who do you like better for next year, Wainwright or Lester? People some pretty gun shy about Peavy for next year, but have several inquiries about Wainwright and Lester (ideally, you tell me who you like better and why, and I send the other guy for an upgrade elsewhere (maybe 3b?)

I like Wainwright better but I would probably see which one gets me the better player and trade him. There isn't that big of a difference between them for me not to accept a trade for the better hitter.

Wainwright should net you a better bat, so I would look at trading him and keeping Lester.

I don't think the difference in the player you would get in return from trading either pitcher would be that significant so I would look to trade Lester and keep Wainwright.

Keep Wainwright and trade Lester. I agree that you will get about the same value for both of them so see what you can get and keep the other. If I couldn't trade one, I would rather have Wainwright.

please help

u need to keep wainwright, he's a national league pitcher on a solid team, he faces a pitcher once every 9 batters... Lester is much less proven and pitches in the AL east. I love both of them, but i have much more faith in wainy....

shop lester.

Hanley, bay, beckett,a. jones, morneua, maybe manny and wainy would be the keepers i'd say are def's....

i would NOT keep peavy, he scares me, ship him if you can....
