I've got the 10th pick in a 20 team salary dynasty league...I'm liking kemp b/c of his 5 tool capability, but I like Longoria because he's a power bat at a real thin position, who would you take?
I'd take Longoria. As you've stated, Longoria is a 3B, Kemp an OF. While Kemp will steal more bags (considerably more), Longoria has more pop, and plays a more favorable position. They aren't terribly far apart in statistical value, but tie those stats to a position, and Longoria seems pretty clear to me.
Very tough. OF isn't that deep either but I think Longoria will be better. Is there any 3B you like that you think will be there for you later? If not then I would take Longoria but I wouldn't be upset if you took the OF and waited to snag a guy like Pablo or Beckham.

Yeah I was thinking about getting Pablo later but my 2nd round pick will #30 and thats a bit too early for him, 3rd round pick will be like 52nd and I dont think he'll last that long. Also OF is split up into LF,CF,RF....I'm not sure if that adds any value tho, cf & lf are fairly deep
Do you really think either of those two are falling to you at #10?
In a dynasty league?
I'd take Kemp b/c he fills the board stat wise.
I'd take longo for his position eligibility and power.
I really dont think you're going to see either, and if anything Longoria would MAYBE be the one to fall to you. Just depends.
Where do you think Braun will go? whats the difference between Braun and Kemp? 5-10 hrs? MAYBE. Kemp batted in the 6-8 hole ALL year, he should move up this year.
