Who to keep?

Postby govols9er » Sun Dec 06, 2009 11:48 am

League overview: 7X7 Hitters: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, BB, K Pitchers: W, L, QS, SV, K, ERA, WHIP
Positions: C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, Util and 9 Pitcher positions

We have 9 guys in our league we get to keep 6 players. The guys I am planning on keeping are:
R.Howard
D.Pedroia
J.Rollins
C. Crawford
J.Santana

I also have Gordon Beckham, Buster Posey in my minor league system and will call them up when the season starts.

The guys I am debating with for the 6th spot are: (in my order right now of preference)
1) Nick Markakis
2) Jake Peavy
3) Lance Berkman
4) Bobby Abreu

What do we think out there?

I think I would take Markakis. Berkman is close but i don't like locking up your Util spot before the draft and OF doesn't have the depth it used to.

I would definitely keep Markakis for sure. As Maudib said, it is close between him and Berk but I just like Markakis better and he is younger. I would keep him.

thanks for your help with mine

when you get a chance help with this one please:

Berkman. Markakis simply cannot put up the power numbers Berkman can. Nick the Stick must show more power plain and simple.
