20 team 5X5 keeper league. Been offered Granderson, Franciso Cordero, JA Happ, Felipe Lopez, and Joel Piniero for Ian Kinsler. My pitching staff is rather suspect and I need a closer, however recognize Kinsler is a young 30/30 guy. Would you make this deal?
A bad three minutes at the auction can cost you three months worth of research!

I'd be looking for a stronger SP than either Happ or Piniero in order to move a fantasy stud like Kinsler.
that's a crappy deal for you, IMO. Granderson is the best guy you'd be getting by far, and he just doesn't excite me anymore. everyone else on that list is trash and not keeper worthy (with the possible exception of Cordero, but I personally like to keep as few relief pitchers as possible).
Part time & platoon players are every week starters in very large leagues.Trades that no 1 would accept in 12 or 14 team leagues could make a great deal of sense in large leagues. The exact # of starters & how many keepers you get(plus current starters at these positions) need to be included in the initial post especially in leagues like this that most aren't familiar with. We love to do 2-1 & 3-1 deals in most leagues where we get the best player in the deal, but in 20 team leagues where you might get upgrades at 4 or 5 weak positions giving up 1 star can work out ok

Without more specifics, despite fast dogs's excellent post, I couldn't condone this.
If you are releasing three absolute dogs to accommodate the new players, wouldn't have a black hole at 2B, and could either win with the older guys here or sell them for youngsters reasonably easily, I could see this. Kinsler's injury prone enough to think that this principle (sell him now at the highest career value he'll have) makes a lot of sense.
I just don't personally like the guys you're getting back all that much, particularly if Cordero somehow loses the C mantle through offseason movement. Your team's specifics do matter here (i.e., do you need these win now guys?), as would the results of quickly shopping him 'round the league.
