1 Utley
2 Kinsler
3 Hill
4 Pedroia
5 Cano
5.5 Beckham
6 Phillips
7 Roberts
8 Zobrist
9 Lopez
10 McGehee
EDIT: probably a good call on Beckham in these list, tho its certainly not impossible the Sox change their mind again between now & opening day. Or see him & Alexei swap and be SS elig 2 weeks into the season. If its a keeper I move him up another spot
Wasn't too long ago, 2nd base was such a weak & shallow position; now look at it!

I don't think Rickie Weeks belongs on any Top 10 lists for 2B's. He's got talent, but man, talk about fragile:

I have to crunch some numbers but it's pretty good with two exceptions. I like Phillips less and less every year. And McGehee isn't this good since his MiLB numbers don't match his half season last year. I'll take Uggla's power even with the mediocre avg.

Really? Gordon Beckham is the starting 2B for the White Sox in 2010 and he'll be Top 10 at least.

White Sox GM Kenny Williams said Friday that Gordon Beckham will serve as the club's starting second baseman in 2010.
Chris Getz and Josh Fields were shipped to the Royals on Friday for Mark Teahen, who will take over at third base in Chicago. "I can't seem to find the position I've played my whole career," Beckham, a natural shortstop, told MLB.com. He started over 100 games at third base in '09, but this is the most logical way for the White Sox to fit Teahen into the lineup.
