Was just noticing that. Really the fact that only 9.5 points separate the top 8 teams is odd this late in the season.

Up for trades if anyone's interested. Looking for some power. And no, don't offer me some 37 year old DH who is really strong.

Here's a postmortem for my season. The thumbs up / down indicate value (without thinking about it too hard).

My original auction results:
Brian McCann, C, ATL $21 ;-D
Garrett Jones, 1B/OF, PIT $4 :-t
Kelly Johnson, 2B, ARI $1 :-°
David Wright, 3B, NYM $31 ;-D
Troy Tulowitzski, SS, COL $28 ;-D ;-D
Chipper Jones, 3B, ATL $6 :-t :-t
Adam Lind, OF, TOR $23 :-t :-t

Carl Crawford, OF, TB $33 ;-D ;-D
Johan Santana, SP, NYM $25 ;-D
Felix Hernandez SP, SEA $25 ;-D
Neftali Feliz SP TEX $6 ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D
Ben Sheets, SP, OAK $2 :-t :-t
Chris Perez, RP, CLE $1 ;-D ;-D ;-D
Brad Lidge, RP, PHI $5 ;-D
Nyjer Morgan, OF, WAS $7 :-t
Nick Johnson 1B NYY $3 :-t :-t
Paul Konerko, 1B, CWS $2 ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D
Jason Heyward, OF, ATL $2 ;-D
Martin Prado 2B/1B/3B ATL $1 ;-D ;-D ;-D ;D
Rich Hill, SP, STL $1 :-t
Justin Duchscherer, SP, OAK $1 :-t
Scott Sizemore, 2B, DET $1 :-t

My current roster and WW pickups that helped my season:
Brian McCann (Atl - C)
Martin Prado (Atl - 1B,2B,3B)
Rickie Weeks (Mil - 2B)
Omar Infante (Atl - 2B,3B,SS,OF)
Troy Tulowitzki (Col - SS)
Carl Crawford (TB - OF)
Ryan Raburn (Det - 1B,2B,OF) ;-D
Corey Hart (Mil - OF) ;-D ;-D
Gaby Sanchez (Fla - 1B)
Aubrey Huff (SF - 1B,OF) [acquired in trade]
David Wright (NYM - 3B)
Adam Lind (Tor - 1B,OF)

Chris Perez (Cle - P)
John Axford (Mil - P) ;-D ;-D
Fernando Rodney (LAA - P) ;-D
Neftali Feliz (Tex - P)
Max Scherzer (Det - P) ;-D ;-D
Gavin Floyd (CWS - P) ;-D
Justin Verlander (Det - P) [acquired in trade]
Felix Hernandez (Sea - P)
Koji Uehara (Bal - P) ;-D
Brad Lidge (Phi - P)
Shaun Marcum (Tor - P) ;-D

- In spite of the number of moves, my hitting roster seldom changed, except for my OFers.
- Went into the season with only Lidge as an official closer (if you could call him that), ended up winning saves. :-)
- Only Santana and Felix as legit starters; Picked up Scherzer, Floyd, and Marcum, traded for Verlander; W's my weakest category with 7 pts, but have 12/11/12/12 in the other 4. :-°

Masterful moves sir ;-D

So I have three players from my opening day roster. Greinke, Lee, Hanson. None of them really performed the way I had hoped.

I was very lucky trading Youk, Vmart, Mauer, Utley since all of them did spend some time on the IR.

My best FA pickup was cleary Bautista. Pagan and Coco carried my SB totals.

Nathan never recorded a save for me.

Still managed 8ish points for SBs and 6ish for saves.

Nathan hurt bad. This season I decided to *not* spend on saves and simply work the wire, but I was regretting that decision thru the entire auction as a closers were being taken. Feliz was just blind luck and at the time I thought I'd bid too much on both him ($6) and Lidge ($5). I was surprised I got Perez at $1, considering Wood's injury history, but that turned out well in the 2nd half.

Konerko ($2) and Prado ($1) and Feliz ($6) were probably my best auction values. And, in hindsight I shouldn't have traded Konerko to Boomer, but I figured he was due an extended trip to the DL soon - just didn't happen.

There's so much more luck than skill involved in these leagues, but at least with roto your season is not defined by one bad week as it is in h2h. :-°

I told myself back in September that I probably wouldn't watch any playoff baseball this year...welp I was wrong.

SO who's got this SF or TEX? Who's pitching shows up? Hard to go against Tex's bats and speed.

I guess I'm rooting for SF, a child hood fan of Will 'The Thrill' Clark, I grew up rooting for Clark, Matt Williams, Bill Swift (From Maine w00t).

I was lucky enough to goto a game @ att park in August, great stadium.

So my bold prediction SF 4-3.
