I wasn't expecting to go that high on him, but I had extra cash and there isn't much else worth throwing that kind of cash around for. Extra saves can't be bad.

I still say with Boomer / Jbooboo clearing the saves market out, that saves have been devalued immensely, with the rest of the league needing less saves for a 3rd place finish in the category. Of course we could all finish tied for 3rd .

I agree. I think they plan on trading some of the saves, but who in their right mind would trade for saves until late in the season. No need to trade for any saves early in the year, when you can keep your solid team and trade for some saves late in the year and still make up ground in that category.
