EDIT: Good move though, to back up Franklin.
I really wanted him for $1 as well. They you throw him out, I wanted someone to bid $2 and give me an excuse not to bid on him , but you slackers didn't step up to the plate.

I predict Franklin loses the closer roll this year before the ASB.
The first major $1 round has come and gone. I'll never know if spending $2 on Tejada was a good idea, but whatever happens... my 3B is backed up beyond belief!
I can't wait for the season... god dammit! I have spent more time with this and my other baseball league that I've totally let my hockey team drop out of contention... oh well!
I have DirecTV ... thinking about getting rid of it. I got it for football. The Sunday Ticket package is great but very pricey. ... They keep raising their rates. ... I had the baseball package a couple of years ago .. it's good but I found I got enough baseball coverage without it.
I currently have basic cable and DirecTV .. was going to switch to Fios but decided to hold off on that. ... May go with Comcast Digital cable one one TV. Trying to decide if I want to keep basic DirecTV so I can get the football package again this fall or not.
Other than price, only other complaint with D-TV is that sometimes you lose the signal with heavy thunder or snow storms.
We've had Directv for 10 years now. Always liked it and had no problems. We just canceled it due to the time we waste in front of it. We got a ROKU for movies for the kids mainly and I will be getting the MLB package when the season rolls around. Just adjusting our priorities. It was hard as heck to cancel though. They make their customer service reps have you jump through a ton of hoops to get your service cancelled.

Thats the same thing I had to go through when I wanted to shut off one of my XM receivers. I had not used it and it was collecting dust so I wanted to stop the service to it. I got through the whole thing relatively fine after like 10 minutes of explaining what I wanted done, then she goes into a spiel of a new offer XM has in buying a new (mind you I had just had one shut off because I didn't want to have more than 3) XM receiver. I wanted to fly out to whatever country she was in just to throw the phone at her. I am sure she had to read a script after every call but that should have been the biggest waste of time ever.
