I think I'm fine. I got $16 left minus the $11 I have currently bid on 5 players. This would leave me with $5 to spend with 5 openings left (assuming I win those players).

I haven't looked at the bids fully as I'm at work, but he can spend more than $7 as long as he's doing $1 and $2 player bids -- remember although his max bid is $7, his remaining money is $16. So, if he's got money out there on $1 and $2 players he should be good (max bid is $7 assuming $1 players on the rest).

But I'm writing this in a rush.

Scoreless is right. His max bid on any one player is $7 but he has up to $16 to spend in total. If he currently has $11 on 5 players, that would leave him with $5 to spend on his remaining 5 which is fine.

And as of right now, he has $9 committed to the players he is currently winning, so he's okay. Of course, I'm going to go outbid him on Montero so he's about to free up a couple bucks...

Not to be a complete ass hole, but it's the closest we've come to that sort of thing... just keeping an eye out there.

I do think we need strict penalty for people that do over bid. Maybe have them banned from bidding that round or have a town meeting and stone them. Either or.

Man the trouble never seems to end in Metsville. Management and Beltran can't even get together to schedule surgery. Fortunately (?) Beltran has opted for a scope rather than the new experimental microfracture technique. God it must be hard to be a Mets fan these days.

As for overbidders let's just charge a 40% or so luxury tax on next year.
