See my brilliant Kouzmanoff nomination. Although I did see one blog where the guy claimed Kouz could have a breakout year - if you look hard enough you'll find a blog or two saying anyone will have a breakout year.

I planned all along to have a weak 3B position with a lot of risks on youngsters... no biggie, it's nice to win a few $1 players so I'm down with having Freese on my team. I don't care if he's a rookie or not, he'll be playing in a lineup with Matt, Albert and friends...

The salaries are traded along with the players. You can not trade $ in addition to any player, that is the rule. Salaries are glued to players, so if they are traded, they go with them.
