Unfortunately the wife works tonight (fortunately at double-time-and-a-half) so our festivities will take place tomorrow. Tonight will be a combination of British beers, bidding, and possibly a movie. Happy New Year to you all!

Silent Rob and ayebatter are making things difficult for me here - but then if they didn't this wouldn't be fun.
Hey Silent Rob how do you feel about Bay in NY? Lot of comments at FanGraphs about the Mets overpaying. You're a BoSox fan aren't you? Any regrets on him leaving? Also some cost analysis again at FanGraphs on Beltre as a Red Sox. Interesting depending if the Sox offload Lowell e.g. to Texas, shift Youkilis to third and stick with Kotchman at first etc. etc. :-S

Yeah I know. Pable has been a dea; in most drafts I've seen. People are either thinking the Giants will suck on offense more this year than last or they dont' realize what he has done and is capable of. Big target for me in my drafts this coming year unless something changes.
