Don't mind me, I get this way every signing period when the all of the Cafe threads are taken over by sox/yankee news and wishes.
I hear ya...it gets just as frustrating to some of us who are fans as well...I merely wanted to comment on the signing because while a lot of people are touting it as a great deal, I'm not so enthused about it. Sure they can throw money around, but it doesn't mean they always should...

It looks like my Christmas buying is done early. Fortunately, to paraphrase Boomer, there are still many "ridiculously mediocre" starting pitchers left.
