It's not that I've done a bunch of auction drafts, but in all honesty I'm being thrown off a bit by the number of players put up early that would go in the first three rounds of a snake.

I put a decent bid in for Crawford, yeah, but I'll be surprised if I get him for $32 ... very surprised.

I think that's good for the league, it'll make you be kind of frugal in the early stages unless you pay out your ass for a star. I'm trying out a strategy that's helped me in fantasy generally and applying it to auctioning (since i'm brand new to this).

I'm not going to lie, I nominate Ian Kinsler because I want you all to bid on him early. Also I figured someone would nominate him very soon anyway. He should have an Utley-like season this year, for sure.

I am surprised too, OF speed is more common than any other position... even SS.

The last 10 rounds of the draft are going to be cheap as hell, i think i can tell already.
