How anyone can be against some form of gun control mystifies me.

Criminals will always have 'em. Connecticut has some strict laws as it is, and of course, a school is a "no gun zone." He was doing that no matter what.

Be interesting to see how he got them. Buying is as much as a problem as owning.

Gun control? You need Monster-Control. Clearly all these tragedies revolved around a very mentally ill individual. You'd have to be to do something like this.

But Guns do make it easy for them to do worse things. What happened to the days where you just got into fist fights or why not just do yourself and leave everyone else out of it. It's not what you should do, but it's better than this.

Horrible to see these things happen. Pretty hard (impossible?) to legislate away outliers like this. Hard to find the right balance between public safety and personal choice. Our gun laws are in a bit of (typically Canadian i.e. muted) turmoil up here in the Great White North.
