I haven't drafted Pujols for several years, thinking that. I've always been wrong and will continue to be. He's a stud.

In all my years, I think I have owned Pujols once.

I don't remember owning Verlander either. But I'll take the MVP and CY for 27 bucks.

Crap, thought I had Wright with an hour to go.

Made a run for a few guys but I'll be empty-handed this round.

Hooray for Sizemore, worth the 8 bucks and to see if he does anything.

I like Sizemore (I named my son Grady), but I'll be honest, I'll bet he goes unrostered (he was last year a few months into the season, no?).

Happy to start off with Pujols. I think he has a big 2012 after battling some injuries this year and going through the contract craziness. Would have liked to get him for $41, but after using my last $10 on Mike Moustakas last year, I'm not going to worry about dropping an extra couple bucks on a guy who's worth it.

Agreed. Also, if you look at last years spreadsheet a lot of really useable players went for $8 or less.

I wish I could say the same but after being roasted last year by 2 of my big money pick-ups i.e. Dunn and Crawford I have a feeling I'm going to be a little nervous this year about shelling out the big cash. So starting slowly with Konerko and BJ ...
