Futility -- too late on the Halladay bid!

My bad. I gotta get my head in the game!

I'm in BC, Canada and the "time difference" between here and the pool is 4 hours i.e. not 3 for Eastern Standard. I find that a bit confusing - or am I missing something here? I'll just have to get my bids in nice and early.

It's just 24 hours max from the time of the previous bid so time zones don't really come it to play on bids except for the initial Monday/Thursday posts.

It's a slow day here at work so I'm going to belabour the time difference thing. In the bottom right corner of the front page for our pool it claims that all times are UTC -0500 but actually they are -0400. I realize there is a 24-hour window but apparently in the 11th hour you are really in the 12th. A minor point but like I said it's a slow work day.
BTW Third Day - how high would you have gone to get Doc?

You'll have to ask one of the owners with the incredibly high post counts, but I think there is a way you can fix that.

I would have gone to $30. Overspending on one SP is a yearly ritual. Plus I'm trying to get the exact same players I have on my Yahoo money league team. It will make setting lineups soooooo much easier.
