I am also going to be on the road until Monday evening. I may have internet over the weekend, but it is questionable. I could PM Bwanna or OLB with my nomination so they can put it up Sunday if that is better.

To those that have a little issue on Monday (and for future reference):

a. You can nominate any time within the 24 hour period from 12 noon Sunday to 12 noon Monday (when bidding starts)
b. If you can't do the above, get your nomination to someone (me, Bwanna) before hand and we'll nominate who you want for you.

So let me get this straight:

You can nominate someone on either a Sunday/Monday($) or Wednesday/Thursday($). Bidding ends after 48 HRS (Wed / Sat).

Everyone nominates a player on Monday AND Thursday. Day earlier if you have to. A player is sold if there are no bids for him in 24hrs. A player may be up for two weeks if guys keep throwing up late bids on him. Only after 24hrs of no bids is a player sold.

Close but not quite. Consider the scenario.

I'm going to nominate George Bush.

At 5:00PM or so on Sunday (within the 12noon Sunday and 12noon Monday nominating window), I create a thread (and of course start the bidding at $1).

On Monday at 12pmNoon, the bidding starts. Someone bids $2, then another bids him right up to $10. At 9am Tuesday morning, someone bids him up to $22. No one bids after that.

So, at 9am Wednesday morning (exactly 24 hours after the last bid), the auction on Bush is closed and he his awarded to the guy that bid $22. Important: If someone had bid him up to $23 at 8:55 am, the bidding would be extended a whole other 24 hours. There is no fixed bidding end date, it is dynamic to each player auctioned and the last bid on record.
