With the recent trade between the White Sox and Royals, Gordy Beckham is going to be moving over to 2B on what seems to be a permanent basis. In a standard 5x5 keeper league (keep 10), would you rather have Beckham or Cano moving forward?

I'm going with Cano here. Last year is what many were expecting of him after his breakout season. The runs and rbi potential in NY make him a great option at 2B.
Beckham will be a very good and exciting player, but it will take some time for him to get to Cano's level, especially as far as the BA goes.

Allow me to rephrase that...I only have room for one and the other I am going to have to trade. Do you think its better to trade Cano and keep Beckham or vice versa?

Cano is a solid ballplayer you know what your going to get from him. Beckham has more upside and will carry multi-position elgibility in most leagues. I'd go with him.
Cano might just gain you something nice correctly packaged. The yankees did just win the WS, you have to carpe diem and sieze the day. Any yanks fans in your league eh?

I agree that now is the time to sell high on Cano. Beckham will be just as valuable eventualy.

IMO I think this is a no brainer. Cano easily. Cano has proved himself to be a top 5 second baseman and could possibly even be a top 3. Beckham has proved very little so far and may be a few seasons until he shows his real potential. I go Cano.

I recently received an offer: Ichiro for Cano. Take that and plug Beckham into 2b?
