And if your legal residence is in Canada you must have your finger on the pulse of the nation. How could I have been so wrong. I don't know how I can argue against such a well crafted position.

The point of showing the book wasn't to show how true the position is (though it is true, you should probably read the book Mookie), it was to show the public perception (and particularly, the perception among the people that are actually paying attention). The author is attempting to capitalize on that public perception in writing this book.

Richard Dawson, of course. Although the J Peterman dude is awesome because he's a caricature of the Peterman character, almost like Sean Connery on the SNL Jeopardy skits.
