Which 10 to keep?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:45 pm

AL only league, 5x5 roto style, keeper league. Which of the following would you keep for next year?(10 players)

C-Teagarden
C-Pena
1B-Overbay
2B-KInsler
3B-Figgins
SS-M. Izturis
CI-W. Aybar
MI-J. Nix
OF-Sweeney
OF-Choo
OF-Gardner
OF-Scott
OF-Hairston JR.
UTI-Thome
BN-Casilla

SP-Blackburn
SP-Halladay
SP-B. Anderson
SP-Gaudin
RP-Jenks
RP-Robertson
RP-Olson
P-Lackey
P-Price
BN-Braden
BN-Morrow
BN-Dice K
BN-Duchsherer

I was thinking something like:

Kinsler
Figgins
Choo
Scott
Blackburn
Halladay
Jenks
Anderson
Lackey
Price

And then draft offense heavily in the first few rounds. Any suggestions?

I'd consider keeping Dick-K over Jenks. How many teams in this league? How many closers do you anticipate will be kept?

Jenks holds value in AL only leagues. I think that Morrow and Anderson's upsides are too good to just throw away. Not to mention Price has all the upside in the world. The only thing risky here is that Lackey and Figgins COULD sign with NL clubs. Is there any kind of deadline. Its only fair that you know that these guys will be eligible for your league, I mean come on. I know keeping so much pitching is always a risky proposition, but you have the hardest position (2b) to fill with a quality player. I might try to trade one of your upside SP or 2 for a stud OF and 1b to improve your O.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
