Lee will get his shot tomorrow. I'd like to see this go 7, 'cause my new furniture won't be delivered 'till Wedensday, and I'd like to watch a baseball game while sittin' on it this year. ;-)

They were in it until the 9th of a 4-4 game. Lidge would have blown anything other than a huge lead.

They wouldn't have given up 4 runs in the first place. He just pitched the best game in the WS in over 100 years and you aren't giving him every possible opportunity to take the mound? Huge mistake.

That's a pretty gutsy call to say that Cliff Lee doesn't give up a single run even after how he's pitched.

I agree that he probably should have started, but that's not the reason they're gonna lose tonight.

Lee has never pitched on 3 days rest. Now's not the time to gamble

The only way the Phillies had a chance in this series was if Lee started 3 times, IMO.

Not picking a fight. This is a normal chant in the Northeast. If you live there, you get it, so no whining.

Let's go Phils. Big win needed here if we are gonna repeat as World Champions. Blanton is going to have to do his Cliff Lee impression.

By the way joe, I missed ya tonight. ;-)

What a 2-out rally. Johnny Damon = player of the game just based on what he did in that 9th inning. Awesome.
