I'm in a 12-team keeper league (keep 19), H2H scoring
who would you rather have?
In this league we have a prospect list so Alderson would not count against my 19 keepers where DLR would
The trade would be Brett Anderson for Hunter Pence and either DLR or Alderson

I think I would hold onto Brett Anderson. You don't really need the outfield help that Pence would provide, and Anderson showed some good promise in the 2nd half.
I think this deal hinges on whether or not you consider RF an immediate and hard-to-fill need. I tend to be unafraid to scare up a starter from the wire in our league here and there, and you do have in Rios a flier worth considering as a keeper at least potentially.
I like Anderson. I don't know that you could do better for him than this, but you are definitely moving downwards in terms of upside here. Pence is more solid than spectacular, and either pitcher might not be a whole lot.
For me, it's Alderson over De La. De La could certainly break out, but he costs you a shot at keeping someone else, and that's not crickets with me.
This is a reasonable deal, and it certainly would position you better for 2010. It won't for later years.
