hahaha. i wish.

i was really willing to spend money on world series tickets, but $500 a ticket (for 3rd level outfield seats) just isnt cutting it.

so now i think i decided to buy season tickets for next season so when this situation arises again, ill already have my seats.

Not a bad idea. Buy a 16 game plan at $25 a seat for $400. Than get offered playoff tickets for face value. Altogether you'll get at least 17 games for slightly more than the $500 for one ticket!

Anyway, my dad got confused and we actually have tickets to Game 3 on Saturday night. I had already bought a $155 plane ticket from USAIR. USAIR wanted $150 to change my flight and since the price went up it was going to be another $150 in additional air fare. Total cost - $450.

That does suck, but overall, that's probably a better deal than if you just bought the Series tickets straight up.

Heading down to the park at 6:00. Gonna eat at Ashburn Alley; get a roast pork sandwich at Tony Luke's and some Crab Fries at Chickie and Pete's. Grab a beer and enjoy my first World Series ever with my pop.

yeah...i was thinking about getting even more tickets than the 16 game plan, because most people i know and close friends are always going to games. it sure would be convenient to always have tickets on hand.
