to include the pick I'm wanting Heyward, Bumgarner and LaPorta. My 2nd round pick is top 15/16 I believe.

This thread was key in rethinking my strategy here. Some think it's great for me, some think it's not. But I think most people here would consider the pick irrelevant.
I got caught up in the trees and missed seeing the forest. I can always give up some value in a trade if it suits my team's purposes. I'll get it back elsewhere.
I've gone back to the other owner, who is posting here in this thread, to offer up the deal without the pick again. No response yet, but then again, I'm asking for trades in ball b4 Hallowe'en. I'm going to take a break from this stuff likely at the end of the WS, and I wanted to wrap this up while I was still in baseball mode.
