Billingsley or Kershaw (keeper)

Postby Newkie » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:20 pm

I am in a 10 manager 10 player H2H keeper league w/ normal 6x6 scoring.
Would you trade my Bills for his Kershaw?
My other pitchers are C.Lee, Carpenter, J.Johnson that I am keeping.

Thanks

P.S. While I have your attention, would you keep all of the above pitchers, or would you drop one for one of the following (Uggla, Hunter or Ibanez).
my other keepers are:

Mauer
Adrian Gonzalez
Aramis Ramirez
Bay
Sizemore
Beltran

I would take Kershaw but than I would try to trade one of those pitchers for a SS or 2B looks like you need you since you have 3 OF.

Kershaw over Billingsley

I wouldn't drop any of those pitchers for a bat.

I'd say Kershaw has the brightest future over Bills and could have the higher payoff next year, especially if he improves away from home. Something doesn't seem to be quite right with Billingsley's mechanics at the moment and I think his stock is low enough to get him back in the draft.

Keeper for 2010? Billingsley

For longer term, I'd go Kershaw

I'd take Kershaw as well. I'd go with the pitchers over those bats, but I think you could deal one of those pitchers for a better bat. Or, combine a pitcher with one of the hitters listed and grab an upgrade. Some bottom-dwelling team is probably interested in a two for one with the names you have on your team.
