Whoever called for that 0-2 fastball from Fuentes against A-Rod should have a parking cone stuffed in their can.

I think Mike Scioscia is the one calling all of their pitches. He wanted a high fastball outside, but clearly Fuentes didn't get it high enough.

With an 0 - 2 count after two fastballs, his next two pitches should have been a foot off the plate or in the dirt, and off speed.

A few buddies of mine were watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings last night. Before Arod comes up to bat, one of them calls a homer. I bet him the next round of beers on the homer not happening, thinking that Fuentes would be real careful pitching to him since the next two batters(Guzman and Gardner) were not awe inspiring. Boy was I wrong. !+)
